Our Team

Our team has evolved over the years, from what started as the hobby of one person has now become the passion and career of many.  From backgrounds in engineering, accounting, chemistry, electronics and event management, each member of the team brings a unique skill that enables us to create shows that have won awards and have allowed us to deliver spectacular professional firework shows that we are proud to put the 21cc Fireworks name to.

If you asked any member of our team why they work with 21cc Fireworks, you would get a completely different answer.

Geoff Crow, Director

“I’ve been in the industry for over 15 years and am still enthused about the displays that we can create.  Fireworks and pyrotechnic products are always evolving and trends changing which means that it’s an exciting challenge meeting and exceeding the requests of our clients.”

Nathan Cameron, Operations Manager

“One minute I could be speaking to a groom who wants to surprise his wife-to-be with a stunning fireworks display on their wedding day, and the next I could be dealing with the pyrotechnics for a sell out stadium rock concert.”

George King, Site Manager

“There is a lot of travelling involved which keeps things interesting as we have clients in the most northern cities in Scotland and the most southern in England.  During the busy seasons there is a real buzz in the office and on the site. This Guy Fawkes we had 40 extra vehicles on site to deal with the number of shows!”

James Maybury, Production Manager

“I really enjoy the variety of my role.  From dealing directly with the clients to being involved in quality checking the displays, we are all able to be involved in each show.  It is really rewarding when we receive the feedback from our delighted clients as we each care a lot about the events we supply for.”

Maggie Bettger, Administrator

“I really enjoy the variety of my role.  From dealing directly with the clients to ensuring that the team have all that they need when travelling to an event, we are all able to be involved in each show.  It is really rewarding when we receive the feedback from our delighted clients as we each care a lot about the events we supply for.”

Thiago Kholis, Quality Management

“The variety of events keeps us on our toes.  Last week I was in Leeds for 3 days overseeing a large street event, knowing that next week I will be up in the north of Scotland at an exclusive wedding celebration.  No two events are the same so we rely on each other heavily, I think that is why we have such a great team spirit!”

Brandon Bettger, Fusing Chief

“We prepare a huge amount of material every week. Every show that goes out the door goes through multiple layers of checking to ensure compliance with the choreography scripts and for quality control. This means that we can be confident that each show will go exactly to plan.”

John Laidlaw, Shop Manager

“Being part of the Edinburgh Fireworks Store is great fun as I am able to advise our customers on which fireworks will bring their party to life.  We have never had a disappointed client and often receive requests for the same products year after year.
